Audrey was born in Cheshire and studied at Northwich College of Art, Manchester and Liverpool College of Art.
She has lived in Anglesey since 1962 and her paintings are a response to living on an island in the Irish Sea under the shadow of the Mountains of Snowdonia.
Audrey works mainly on themes of light, colour and forms observed from the constantly changing sky, sea and landscape around the island of Anglesey and the mountains of Snowdonia.
Audrey prefers to draw outdoors in Winter and Spring when these elements are more dramatic; the ‘green’ of Summer sends her to the beaches.
Audrey first exhibited at Gorstella Gallery in Spring 1995 in a mixed exhibition of watercolours by artists from the North West and has continued to exhibit with the Gallery many times since.
