Amanda obtained her Art Foundation in 1990, following a BA Hons at Bath in Fine Art Sculpture from 1991-1993.
After exhibiting throughout the country, Amanda’s style has matured and become more experimental with the use of mixed media together with a sense of playfulness and a wonderful naivety, showing her love of cottages and the coast.
Amanda’s work draws you in to look at all the details of layers such as her use of maps under oil, acrylic, water, graphite, pencil, emulsion paint, print and a montage of her own photos.
Amanda also enjoys teaching art part time at Moreton Hall School giving support and art technique to the GCSE and A’level students.
She works from her studio at home where she lives with her husband and three children.
We are delighted to be showing Amanda’s work once again.
