Rachel Stewart born 1971, lives in North Wales. She studied Art and Design at Bangor Art College and later gained a diploma in ceramics.
She has a grown up family and is enjoying drawing, painting and exhibiting. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Cambrian Academy in Conwy and at Plas Glyn y Weddw.
Her work depicts snapshots of days out and in our beautiful country and holidays in the Mediterranean.
“I have always sketched and I would sooner reach for my sketch pad than a camera”.
Rachel works in watercolor and oils and believes in observation and drawing with that inner need to capture the moment.
